I, ____, take you, ____, to be my lawfully wedded (husband/wife), to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.
These are the wedding vows my husband Mike and I took nearly four years ago. We promised to hold each other for the rest of our lives. To physically hold each other, to hold each other up in times of stress, pain, or loss, and to hold each other in the highest esteem. We have also held and watched the most precious baby girl grow for the last 16 months. In five months, we will be even more blessed to hold another baby girl. May we always remember our vows to each other and the ways we are to hold one another. We have fragile human hands, and desperately need our Heavenly Father to hold us in his hands, because He never loses His grip.
